I've had meat thermometers that would feed a phone app before. While they've worked fine, I always had issue with doing other things on the phone and then flipping back. Sometimes, I'd lose connection or have other problems. While this set provides a phone capability as well, I really wanted it for the nice display. I can be cooking on the back porch and have this nice, dedicated display sitting indoors without having to worry about what else I'm doing on my phone. To that end, this works perfect for my use case.
I must say though that being able to read the temperature from your phone app even while away is an interesting and cool feature this one has that my other didn't, I'm also not sure why you'd cook while away. I haven't tested this, nor do I anticipate doing so, but it does seem cool. Maybe it's useful for a quick run to the store?
Anyway, on to the things I care about more. The build quality seems exceptional and the connectivity by the probes is excellent. Regardless of where I move around my house, I haven't seen an issue with connectivity between the probes and base.
The accuracy seems quite good as far as I can tell, though I don't have the appropriate tools to measure. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this device. I've used several similar products before, but this one frankly knocks them out of the park for build, design, and usability.

This wireless thermometer seems to be very high quality and worked well on my first use. It came nicely packaged, almost like an Apple device. The app is easy to use, and the probes seem to be very well made. It can be used with or without the app.
The best feature is that when you set the desired internal temperature, it alerts you to turn off the heat about 4° before reaching that temperature, allowing the meat to rest and finish cooking. This is great because pork is often overcooked, which makes it tough. Once it reaches the proper temperature, the base tells you it’s ready.
The problems I encountered were with the instruction manual and the screen. The manual was so small--just 2 ¾ by 3 ½ inches--that I couldn’t read some parts even with a magnifying glass. Also, the screen wouldn’t stay lit. If I touched the power button, I had to reset everything, and touching the screen did nothing. Eventually, I figured out that removing the second probe from the base would wake the screen for a short time. I wish the screen stayed lit the whole time, but you can always use the app as an alternative. In the end, the pork roast turned out perfectly, so all’s well that ends well. There may be a setting somewhere that I missed.
I’ve purchased similar wireless thermometers in the past, and they only worked a few times before failing. Hopefully, this one will be more durable. If it fails, I’ll be sure to update the review, but for now, I’m happy!

This dual probe smart thermometer is an absolute game changer for anyone who loves cooking and pays careful attention to food temperatures. The wireless sensors are amazing, offering a range that’s more than sufficient and making them incredibly easy to use. It’s as simple as turning them on and sticking the thermometer in the food—seriously, that’s it. I left one in a bowl of noodles before testing it with shrimp, and it gave me an instant reading that changed as soon as I removed it from that bowl.
The interface is super easy to understand, and I love that you can set it to alert you when the food reaches a specific temperature. It’s smart enough to tell you which temperatures for which foods. That convenience really makes cooking a breeze. Both thermometers feel substantial in hand, with a good weight to them. I do wish they had a slight indent to prevent sliding off the edge of a pan, but that’s a minor issue. The base has a convenient built in stand that conveniently props the reader at an angle that’s easy to see.
What really stands out is how functional and hassle-free these wireless thermometers are. Compared to the old wired models, which are clunky and inconvenient, this one is a joy to use. Overall, it’s a great product, and I highly recommend it for anyone who values ease, accuracy and food safety in their cooking tools.
