I purchased this meat thermometer as my previous one was giving inconsistent readings. This model provides instant readings, which is highly convenient. The backlit display is particularly useful for outdoor grilling in the evening. A standout feature is the auto-rotating screen, which adjusts the display orientation based on how it's held, similar to a smartphone's autorotate function. The build quality of the thermometer is impressive; it doesn't have the cheap plastic feel that some others do. I highly recommend it!

I have a few of the big name ones such as thermoworks, thermopro, maverick, etc. this one is the fastest out of all of them, and I believe to be very accurate! It wipes down easy if you get sauce or drippings on it. I also enjoy that it has a magnet built into the back of it. It allows me to stick it to my fridge, back of the oven, or on the smoker for quick convenience whenever I need to check the temp on something. I would definitely recommend this instant read thermometer!

The thermometer itself is very accurate and quick. Taking less than second to adjust to changes. There is small button on the back to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The screen will auto rotate depending on the orientation. Retracting and detracting the needle turns the device on and off. Now add on to that, it's also a bottle opener. Plus the back is magnetic to keep it close by your grill or smoker. The magnet could be a little stronger, but it's strong enough for it to stick to any metal surface.
